Heater motor surge

Yesterday the heater motor surged twice at the same time, acted like a low voltage problem for a very short moment. I have not experienced the problem since this time. I have read on previous post that the A/C blower has been replaced a relatively low milage. . under warranty. . Interested in the early signs and symptoms of blower motor failures. . Sounds like the parts are cheap, but pretty labor intensive

Could it have been your grid heaters turning on?They will make the heater motor slow down when they come on.

Yesterday the heater motor surged twice at the same time, acted like a low voltage problem for a very short moment.

if it was at startup, the intake grids are probably the cause [colder weather now]. . they draw some big amperage, and the lights will dim, the blower speed will slow, everything electrical will slow down as the voltage drops. .



if it is the grid heaters causing it, it is normal
