I have a 98 reg cab with the 12v i was wondering if there was a in cab air filter for the heating system??

Nope. Our old 12 valvers are just plain trucks.

Whoa there. If there is one, I guess I need to find out. Didn't think they came with cabin filters till 3rd gen.

The real deal is, they do not come with one, like the priceier autos. The kit from Geno's is aftermarket, and am glad now knowing they are available. The OE cabin air filters fit in the plenum usually behing the glove box area. Heck, my wife's '98 caddy didn't even come with one.
