Shipping out Friday

Shipping the first batch out Friday to Geno's... They should be in their hands early next week. There will only be a few silver / metallic ones available at this time, however, I'll be making more soon. Here are some more pics:

Again, these look better then the pic's.

They all look great, I have my order in for a silver one. Thanks for making such a nice looking shifter knob. I'll be watching for the shifter knob for the transfercase... . Jerry

Got it today! :) Feels good in the hand. As simple as this is, here are 2 tips that will help with the install:

1. The factory shift knob MUST be warm in order to pry out the center section without damaging the plastic around it! I did the job at 30°F and cracked the plastic. If I had heated it up a little (heat gun or hair dryer), it would've been fine. It becomes VERY flexible if it's warm, like rubber.

2. The socket for the locknut is 15mm.

[Sorry... poor quality photo].

Ryan thanks, for the tips... it was 75* yesterday in Utah. . Oo. I hope you enjoy it. If you can, take another pic. I think yours was black? Would be good for others to post pics, so we can see how the different colors work with interiors. I can't do it as I have an auto.

Got mine in silver yesterday. Really nice but I have one gripe. For how much they cost, I think not much thought was put into mounting. Directions say to use blue thread locker or the nut that holds the stock ball on as a jam nut. I used the nut method. The problem is that you can feel that big nut on your fingertips while shifting and it's not very comfortable. I think a low profile jam nut (like on the old hurst shifter balls) should have been included for the $50 that I paid. Don't get me wrong Heber, I really like your product. A small nut would have made me 100% satisfied though.

Do these dashes not look freaking awesome once a nice coat of armor all is applied? I think the low light in the pictures sets things off nicely

I have not been able to find a smaller jam nut that fits the tread pattern. Depending on the size of your hand, the factory jam nut may cause irritation. That's why the instructions, using the second method of mounting the shift knob using tread locker completely eliminates the need for the lock nut. If you don't want to use the second method of installation, find a lock nut to your satisfaction, PM me the costs, and I will reimburse you the price you paid for the lock nut.

Sooo... Guess what? Brandon at Genos Garage said the HeberRam shift knobs fit great on the SRT-10 hurst shifters!

Which is convienent due to Genos Garage now sells the TGE SRT-10 Hurst shifter kit (they are the only distributor)

Your choice of HeberRam's cummins knob or the SRT-10 leather knob.

Have a black one in my '05 and love it !! The "8 Ball" feel is MUCH better than stock knob.

Y'all just note - a little thread lock will secure that thing down perfectly so the image is right side up ... Bail on the jam nut.

Nice product guys !!!

I have me one of those knobs to, like DMarkle said above much nicer feel and scrap the jam nut works just fine without it.

Hey guys, I'm having trouble unscrewing the stock shift knob on my G56--heated or unheated. It just won't budge counterclockwise. Any tips? TIA
