I had an interesting thing happen.
I used to subscribe to the Wall Street Journal, but I let it lapse since I wasn't using it too much. After a year, I was solicited by e-mail for a marketing survey by the Journal (actually a third party marketing company). They said they were giving away fifteen i-Pads, to be given away among the respondents.
It was a long survey... 45 minutes or so, but I figured half way through that a lot of people would have lost interest by now, so why not finish it off? So I did, complete with name & address. A couple of weeks ago, I got a follow up e-mail, and today I went down to the UPS Center, and picked it up, sealed like-new in the OEM packing. How cool is that? There really is a Santa Claus.
