For a ULTRA-RARE limited production run vehicle that's only going to go up in value ... it really should be towed in an enclosed trailer. o_O

The engine doesn't meet the Obama era mandated evaporative emissions in a SUV for 2022. :(

My buddy let me sit in his Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat and he even started it up for me. This is the problem with a limited run "fun" vehicle like this. You hate to actually drive it because it's not exactly replaceable. We'd throw each other the keys to our pickups without hesitation for any and NO reason. No, not the keys to The SRT Hellcat or the Wife's other classic Li'l Red Express Truck: understandably also an exception.

It's brand new and NOT a 2022. It was built Dec of 21 and is listed as a 21. They are done!!!

Thank you!

When we were socializing after the funeral the owner and my Son took people for rides and let them drive if they wanted. I was riding with and a relatives wife killed the guys with the hardest launch. She let off at 92, higher than the others also. I didn't drive it as I had downed a couple at that point!
So much for the actual break-in procedure :D

Drove it yesterday it’s a very nice driving and comfortable rig. Took it up to 120 after a VW Tourig? Thought I wanted to race. I had no idea I was 120 until the owner mentioned it at dinner.

All 710 hp is available all the time unlike his Charger that can select lower hp.

It does launch hard that was fun.

Thinking it would be cool to trade 19 Jeep GC on one. Would only need another 50k. Reality is the V6 is plenty of power for the wife.

If you can find another one DO IT! You only live once. You got to make Tesla owners fork over more cash to “Keep up” via unlock power upgrades…

My condolences over your mom.

Speaking of Tesla. He crashed a 150k model and took out 50’ block wall at 120. The steering wheel is what got him. It does not have the top. He owned it for 8 hours.

Correction, he lost control around 120. He hit the wall at 80-90. He tried to correct the slide but kept grabbing for the steering wheel that was not there. That steering wheel would be fine in a plane but not in a car IMHO. He is not going to replace it.

Lucky he didn't kill someone. Seriously, that kind of stuff belongs on Closed Circuit. Talk some sense into him before you end up at his funeral too!

I see asshats driving like that around here from time to time on my road. They think because it is so remote with almost no houses its a free for all. Nevermind I got kids that drive on the same road
The thought of tossing an 1-1/4 wrench out as they scoot by has crossed my mind a time or 2.

P.S. sorry to hear about your mom's passing, Ron.

If you drive it hard those brakes are the first thing that need upgrading...the track question is always what happens first, overheated brakes or tires, or running out of gas.o_O

You talk like you have some experience ;)

that is soooo koooool! When I was in the 6th grade in 1968, a friend's family used to take me to San Antonio Drag Raceway and have seen the like of Hurst Hemi Underglass, Lil Red Wagon, Shirley Muldowney, Don Garlits... so cool smelling burned rubber, noxious exhaust, and going deaf sitting about 50ft down from the starting line and seemed like 20ft from the track. That has made me feel really good remembering the drag races!

The thought of tossing an 1-1/4 wrench out as they scoot by has crossed my mind a time or 2.

Secondary wreck from a 1-Ton possibly running them over distracted by watching where the wrench goes intending on stopping to pick it up. Be frugal.

Undercover Cops run around here in everything they have "seized over drugs" and have a habit of forgetting to turn at least their rear lights on. I suggest that would not be fun to explain.

And yeah, trying to keep cool out here is difficult.

We proved the thicker radiator at the track, here.

Keeping Cool: Especially when you do this that the SRT8 Jeep of the day couldn't do.
