The differences from my '99 3500 is interesting. Ride is noticeably harsher in the 2500. Steering is different, haven't decided better or worse, I think it's just different. The bed rail heighth is a full 3 inches taller than the 3500 at the tail gate.
I like the 4 wheel disk brakes.
I got the towing mirrors. 1/2 great, 1/2 ah s**t. They are bigger and have the spot mirror built in. Visibility is good and they are solid. But . . . adjusting them is all manual and they do not move easily. Worse, you have to completely readjust them when you flip them up for towing

I'm going to miss the plush leather and the shear masculinity of the 3500, but I am looking forward to total control with the stick and the higher output power of the '01.
Anyone interested in the '99? Check out my ad. It's a great setup for towing and ready to roll.
