I am planning some upgrades to my new(to me) truck. Is anyone running both the Hellwig rear swaybar and Mag-Hytec rear cover on a 03-up 3500 dually? Any mods necessary to make this work? - Mike

Did the Hellwig sway bar work with the MAG Hytec

I was just doing research on the Hellwig rear sway bar and I have a Mag Hytec cover on mine.

Did the Hellwig work with the cover and did the sway bar make a difference?

Thanks. Ed

I haven't added either of the mods yet. I was living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast at the time I posted this, and the old homestead was beaten up by Hurricane Katrina. At least the truck was over 300 miles from the hurricane.

Eventually, I'll get around to buying these for the truck. As far as I was told by PM, they will work.

the sway bar will work with the mag hytec and no modifications needed.

Airbags, I'm not sure.

I did not notice much diffrence, except it does seem not to lean as much in turns.

I have a sway bar and air bags on mine to handle a 11'6 Lance camper. the air bags by them self made it a little squirlly and the sway bar made all the differance in the world. If you do air bags it is a must to do the sway bar. They all bolted up just fine. The air bags for a slide in or hauling is a must to keep the ride height the same.
