Check the engine fuse in both the drivers side dash fuse box and the power center under the hood - - Thats what it was when mine showed "No Buss"

Ive checked them twice. I check power and ground at pcm and ecm and they all look good. i changed the pcm and still no luck.

check all your connections good at the PCM also check your ground wires.
Ill be watching in case I come up with the same problem in a week or 2 when my project will be complete.

When we p-pumped my truck we forgot to hook up the crank position sensor up and the alternator wouldn't charge so the gauge wouldn't work. Not sure how you'll get by with this with the 12V motor. Not sure about the fuel gauge.

we relocate the CPS to the 12V timing case where the timing pin is and use a cam gear with a tone ring on the back like with a 24v ppump setup.

Ah the joys! David told me the tach never worked on my truck, that is unacceptable. Haisley has a conversion kit to use a 12V pickup on the balancer to the 24V harness.

I'd like to get rid of the tone ring deal all together.

Jim

That sounds like a good deal Jim If mine wasnt done already I would be going that route also. Everything functioning as normal is the only way I will consider my project "done" as well.
