Help::::2003 dodge ram radio wiring

I have a 2003 brand new stock 2500 ram radio. . I need to know what these colored wires go too. . that come out of the rear of the radio ... . on the plug ,,facing the rear of the radio ,,i have 2 ea yellow ,, next a red, and a blue with white tracer, next orange white and a brown,,next a green and a gray, next a green with black tracer and a gray with black tracer,next a purple with black tracer and a white with black tracer,, next solid purple and a solid white, next a black and a black... . Are you sure its from an 03 2500?

I don't find those colors matching up on an aftermarket diagram I have at home.

I might have an oem diagram at work.

Matt i had to purchase a plug for this radio. . there are acually two recepicals on the rear. . One big male and a smaller male... . i bought only the large one... all i want to do is find the colors that correspondes to the power probably red and black ,, then if a external amp is needed i'd need the colors for that and of coarse the colors for a couple of speakers. and the control for the cd player... . the radio has this on it part no## p05091506ac and it says daimler chrysler on it..... hope this helps doc... ... ... ... ... ... .

Sorry i forgot to answer your questions,, yes it is for a 2003 dodge ram,, and it is a basic radio not premium

If you bought the plug separate then the wire colors on that plug may not be the same as the colors in the truck. What happened? did the trucks plug end get cut off and your repairing the vehicle harness?



Take a look at the plug you bought and see if it has these numbers on it:

1-11 and 12-22

No I saw this radio on ebay (new) and i thought it would be neat to mount it in my boat of coarse it was only the radio, no add ons. . i thought if someone could give me the color code on the wires i could fix a neat radio set up. . NO THERE IS NO NUMBERS ON THE PLUG... I GUESS F I CANT GET A WIRING SET UP I'LL JUST HAVE TOPUT PLUS 12 VOLTS TO THE RED AND GROUND THE BLACK AND TAKE A SPEARKER AND LOOK FOR NOISE IF IT LIGHTS. THEN THERES THE PROBLEM OF HOOKING THE CD PLAYER UP?? ANY IDEA'S . . TKS RADAR DOCTOR

Note the 22 pin connector layout- top row pins 1-11 and bottom row pins 12-22. On the right it shows what pins are used and what they are for.
