Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) help #5 plate question

hey guys need fast help going to dyno day with HTS April 29 and not happy with truck performance I have installed tst #5 plate zero to 60 suck was faster and had better pulling power with stock plate slide forward and afc and alittle starwheel adjustment with #5 plate in I have slide it foward helped out alittle after torque converter locksup set you in the seat and hit top speed quick any idea let me know

I have a afe stage one air filter hts vavlebody not sure what who made it dual stage torque conveter other than that and the #5 nothing else

the fuel spoon may be hitting below the nipple. Grind the lower nipple off the plate or use a 10 plate and for heavens sake, get some gov. springs

oh also not sure it will help but 30 to mid 30's psi boost till converter locks then boost hits 40 psi hard and strong I mean let off the throttle and or steady speed and the punch it and the boost guage hits 40 right now.

With the #5 plate, you need to adjust the governor arm to touch the plate just above the tip of the lower nose. Go here to find out how.

thanks I adjusted the lever forgot about that brian freeze I guess alittle better now but not what I expected since I should be pushing close to 300hp if not more with how it is set up if any other advise please list even if it sound dumb I will check to see if it help out thanks again guys

how's the rest of the maintenance -> valve adjustment, timing and so on?

every thing should be good had new head gasket put on about 3 months ago buy dealer and I made them double check the valve and stuff not saying they didn't lie to me and not check them
