:-{} I have a friend with no PC so he asked me to do a post for him , if anyone has any answer?

Oo. He has a 99 RAM 24 valve with some eng mod's. He has taken the turbo ring out. But wants to know if there is anyway to make the turbo WHINE louder? He also has the after market air filter. He said all seems to work fine but has seen others that really WHINE and he wants to sound the same. Thanks and I will pass on any help.

He needs to ditch the stock airbox if he really wants to hear it. (I`m assuming by aftermarket filter you're talking about a drop in K&N) I recommend a BHAF, Fleetguard pn# AH19037. (available at www.fleetguardfilters.com) Also gota isolate the airbox studs from piercing the filter, I used a piece of 1x3 furring strip. offsets it nicely. fostertruck.com sells a SS heatshield that makes the turbo run better and keeps the heat off other things, including the filter.

havent heard of the 4" hole in the firewall, quite an idea

good luck

Snap the corner of a blade off the turbocharger's compressor impeller. That will give him some noise - briefly, anyway!!
