Ahhh, either an unplugged or faulty ABS sensor somewhere, such as on one of the front wheels, or the ABS computer has taken a dump..... the Jeeps are really prone to that... . the module itself is serviceable, but has to be VIN programmed for most trucks. Is your speedo still working? If so, I'd wager a front sensor or the ABS computer module, bolted to the abs pump assembly.

I don't think it will be that easy. I lost a front wheel sensor last year to physical damage, and just got the ABS light. The pump never made a sound.

On the second Gen trucks, when that happens it is the ABS control unit, the electronic controller that sits on top of the ABS unit under the hood on the drivers' side. The controller can be replaced independantly of the hydraulic part but it is expensive. A friend found one at a wrecker for a lot less and it solved his problem.

I don't know if this is true of the third Gen trucks but it is a place to start.

Google Module Master. The rebuild with more robust relays at a good price. Piece of cake to remove and reinstall. Truck is drivable while you wait. About 10 days as best I remembers.
