Thanks, me too! Had to get a wrecker and come and get the truck. 120 miles one way. The starter wire had rubbed and wouldn't kick in and threw a code. DEaler fixed it no charge. The dodge dealer in Scottsbluff, NE. is top notch. They could have easily threw it to me. I slipped the tech some cash so he could eat real good tonight. Said a lot of trucks have done that with my year. Drove back to Big springs to get the trailer and tomorrow I continue on the ride. Unload in Scottsbluff then to Monroe Utah to get a bus, load it up then back to Houston.

Have you considered getting an emergency road service plan? I ran over some debris on I 76 just south of the I 80 split and flattened three tires on the truck (but none on the new 5er I was towing). ERS sent a flatbed out from Sterling, CO with a 3500 D-max (which sucked) on the back. Did I mention it was about 40 degrees, 30 mph wind and raining? The driver unloaded the Chev and loaded my truck. We hooked the 5er to the Chev and went to the shop. All I was charged for was the new tires I needed. Just make sure that whoever you sign up with will tow the trailer you have too. I have used them three times in the 8 years I have been on the road, and definitely have come out ahead.
