Okay fellows, I need some help. I changed my master/slave unit today (dodge $240) I was having a problem getting it in gear, so after doing some research I decided to start there. DID'NT WORK!!! It would shift while not running, but when I started it---nothing!!! :--) Any ideas what to do next?

Ditto the bearing, or maybe even the clutch arm (READ the thing that the slave cylider moves inside the bell housing) has come off it's pivot point.

I replaced the clutch at @85,000(118700 now) I'm thinking the bearing could be gone also, but it was replaced with the clutch. Is this "normal" or possible?

A bad pilot bearing will cause what you're describing. The pilot bearing in the crankshaft drags the input shaft along with it, causing it to rotate even with the clutch disengaged.

Rusty

not sure of what years it affects, but I remember readin in one of the TDR issues about certain years using a bushing that will wear fast in dusty and dirty conditions
