My 09 only has 15700 miles on it and my check engine light (MIL) came on this morning. I just pulled the codes at an auto parts store and they are P226B - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Pressure too high - mechanical; and P2262 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Pressure not detected - mechanical. The truck seems to be running normally. The engine brake is working fine, I hear the turbo spooling when I drive and I've got plenty of power. I am planning to drive 5 hours tomorrow to go home to deer hunt. The local dealer says they don't have any openings until next week. What should I do??

I'm just gonna drive it. Hopefully a long hot highway drive with the e-brake on will help break loose the soot that's no doubt on the turbo given the codes. If it stops working, it's still under warranty.

I would get it to the dealer for service and wire that EB to stay on all the time. Also have the high idle feature turned on at the same time, and use it when warming up the engine, or prolonged idle times.

After about 100 miles of highway driving, the MIL went off. I'm taking it to the dealer here on Friday. I do always keep the exhaust brake on and I have high idle enabled and use it to warm up and when idling for long periods.

The dealer just cleaned the turbo, but said that it will probably need to be replaced if the MIL comes on again. Apparently Dodge requires them to do a cleaning first before replacing it or they would have just gone ahead and put a new one on.
