I want to put a "box" on my 03 H. O. 6 speed but I'm not sure which way to go. The EZ, the bullydog, volumizer, etc. I see so many people using different things and talking about each I'm not sure what is best. The added HP is purely for my enjoyment and not for towing. Thanks for your help.

To my knowledge the bullydog box is on top right now as far as power goes. If you are patient (I'm not) you may wait for the TST box to come out, they keep saying it will be out any day now:rolleyes: . Its supposed to add 120hp/400ft/lbs. As for me I just ordered a Bullybox for my six speed truck. Several people have posted over 400 hp at the ground with all types of transmissions using the Bully Box. Just my 2 cents.

I'm just gonna hang on for a while and watch everyone else. I think there are others in the works that will come out in the near future. I just want to see what works, what holds up, and what doesn't cause engine damage.

The TST and edge box are going to be timing and pulse width but not rail pressure making them stackable with a rail pressure box such as the ez. The TST is going to have 9 level on the fly adjustability and as of a few weeks ago when I spoke to Edge they were undecided on the number of levels but will be on the fly from the cab as well. Bully and Quad's new boxes are a combintation of rail pressure and timing (but not pulse width) and have 3 settings that can be adjusted from the cab. Stacking will get you the most options as far as adjustability to optimize to your truck and its mods. Personally at this point if you havent purchased yet then waiting might not be a bad idea. Both the edge and TST box are going to be out before long and then we will see where we stand with the timing and pulse boxes. Things are starting to get interesting for us 03 folks now.

Don't know

I guess I'm gonna wait for the Edge box. Last week I was desperate to get the Bully Dog box, but I'm over it now. I would like to see some time slips from some 03 trucks with mods, but I guess I'm the one of the few 03 owners that like the strip. I went from a 18. 06 at 74 mph stock to 15. 9 at 84 mph with the EZ edge, about a 90 rwhp gain. I hear all about the Dyno numbers, and they are all over the board, depends on the dyno I guess. But I would love to see before and after dyno numbers, same day same dyno form a real customer.

I might get a remote start and install it my self, that should keep me busy untill I can get an edge box.

i talked with aaron from edge and he said possibly by the end of august edge will have thier boxs out. i will be interested to see how many ponies these trucks put out with a timing, pressure, pulse wow. way to many ponies for a stock transmission, that i am sure of. stack all that with dd3 and a b1b wow i would guess around 500+ easy

The new edge box is timing and duration only (no pressure), and in the 100HP region. no additional stress on the HPCR system. The EZ is pressure only (no timing or duration) and in the 40-70 HP region. These two should be stackable -- how cool is that? :D.

another cool thing about the edge box is the new controller. in-cab adjustability, digital gauges, all in the same box. how cool is that? :D

im lovin my bullydog box

here be some dyno numbers,,b4 and aftr
