New member here, looking for some turbo advice. I've got a 2004 that we just put a TST box on, and now we're looking to upgrade the stock turbo. I've heard a lot about the Super B and the Phat Shaft, but don't know much about either. This truck is a daily driver and a work truck that see's a lot of heavy towing and hauling. I don't want anything too laggy, but a little more than the stock one would be ok, since it seems to be lit almost all the time. I'm not limiting my choices to the SB or PS, but those are the ones I hear the most about.

Any advice you all can give is greatly appreciated.

PHAT SHAFT 62-12, QUICK SPOOLING AND HIGH BOOST, LOWER EGTS ;)

"SUPER" Phat shaft 62... The 64 is geared more toward the secong gen trucks... . I have the Super 62 and LOVE it. I would also ask I. I. if they could hook up up with a pretty good price on a ATS exhasut manifold. I got a package deal with turbo, Ats arch flow and exhaust manifolds for a great price.

I've heard a lot of great stuff about the Super 62. People are making some big power with that turbo on diesel fuel only!!!!

I have a slightly used SPS62 w/ATS exhaust manifold for sale if interested. It was on my '05 for about a month before I decided to trade up to an '06 MegaCab, which is going to get a set of twins once I get some mileage on her.

Thanks!

Another one to check out is the HTB2. That's what I put on a couple of months ago. I went with the HTB2 because it was a direct bolt on fit. Didn't have to do anything with the downpipe. I bought mine off E-bay for $1,4XX.
