Help - EZ disconnect ??

I have had the Edge EZ installed for about one month and used it under no load. I have not had any problems until today. The truck is loaded pretty heavy with furniture and I noticed a shutter from the transmission once in awhile. I am going to get transmission upgrades in a couple of months so I want to unhook it while I have the load. I know I can disconnect either the Data link or the MAP connector from the EZ and it goes back to stock without removing the EZ box. If I remember correctly, it is the Data link but would like someone to verify this. I'm leaving in the morning to deliver furniture (600 miles) and don't want the EZ connected. Thanks !!

If you disconnect the Data Link connector, the EZ won't have any influence over the fueling curves in the computer. If you have the boost elbow installed, you'll want to leave the EZ hooked up to the MAP sensor so that you don't set an overboost code.

Aggiejustin is correct.

If you have the boost elbow installed then you will need to leave the MAP hooked to the EZ. If you don't then you will send your truck into limp mode. The EZ will act as a Boost module whether it is on or not. Oo.

Thanks for the help. I disconnected the data link and left the MAP sensor in tact as I have the boost elbow installed and everything is back to stock. I taped up the plug so that no dirt could get into the connection. I now still have the problem of which transmission upgrade to go with this summer.
