Help friend buy new truck

Had a friend who wanted me to truck shop with him. He liked Chevy's. went to chevy store. priced and drove a Duramax. He thought it was Ugly but drove good. Went to Ford store and drove a new 6. 0 Powerstroke. He liked it ok but wasn't realy sold. Went to Dodge store. drove a H. O. 2500 with 48re. Bright red. Liked it a LOT. They threw down a price. $300 under invoice with the $2000 rebate and $2625 trade in on a 1996 Gmc Sonoma with 140 k on speedo. It was Kelly blue book. HE really LIKED all that. Went back at 8 am today and drove it off grinning from ear to ear. Bright red,H. O. 48re 4dr L. b. with 3. 73 gear and trailer package slt etc. They said its end of the month can we sell anything else to you at cost LOL. He inquired about one of those matching color lids that cover bed and lock etc. Sold him one for $750. 00. Will get and install next week. He told me he wished all car buying was that simple. had just bought his wife a 4 door Toyota truck and said it was a 4 hour Haggle. Dodge truck started at $37,000 and change. Went to $30k and change and then $2625 off that for his trade.
