I don't have a socket to take off the fuel filter top on my 2001 Cummins. Can anyone tell me the size so that I know what to buy? I'd appreciate a short reply.
The socket size is 1 1/8" if my memory serves me right. You could use a crescent wrench, or even a good channel lock wrench, but DON'T try to take it off by using an extention, in the square hole in the center of the top... You will probably crack the top if you do... . Have Fun!!!
