I need some serious help!! I have spent all day trying to install a new Dakota Digital electronic fuel pressure gauge. I have checked all grounds, electrical connections, hose connections, everything. The gauge will only read 62 psi!!! What gives? any idea... . the sender and gauge are brand-new, is it possible I got a bad sender out of the box? Anything help would be greatly appreciated, this thing has whipped me!!

Only 62 psi???? What are you hooking it to? I have my FASS set @ 13 psi. That type of pressure would destroy the seals on your injection pump.

What I meant was the gauge does not move from 62... . I relocated the stock lift pump with the vulcan kit, and I put on a new injection pump. I don't see any way this set-up could push 62psi. , could it? Maybe a bad sender? I've ground the sender and gauge together, separately, checked connections... . no change. Any ideas?

Did you go thru the gauge setup procedure and select the correct sender PSI? There is 3 different pressure settings so you can pick which sendor you have, I don't have the info with me but I kind of remember a 30psi & 100psi sender setting and one other one. What sender did you buy? I had to ask for a 30PSI sendor since it wasn't on their website

That was the problem. I did not realize that I needed to select the sender. . I got the 30 psi. sending unit. With the new Vulcan kit, I am seeing a solid 13psi... . can't pull it below 11 wot. Actually, the fuel pressure moves very little unless I really get on it... I guess my reading are correct, I don't have a manual gauge to cross reference.
