Help! How to clean...?

Finally received my menber number! This site is the best. Great info. I recently purchased a 99 3500 Dually QC 4WD 24 valve, straight pipe, no BOMBS yet. This truck is the greatest. Dad just bought a 2001 PSD Crew Cab and man is he jealous. The truck is white and the other day when washing it I realized it has tiny spots of sap on it, all over the truck, any tips on getting this off? I am afraid to wax it before I remove the sap.
2nd question: The guy who had this truck before me put 255/85/R16's on it, they look great but the duals are running real close, and I mean REAL close, any future problems I should be aware of? Thanks for the help and once again great site!

Best thing I found for the tree sap is good ol WD-40. My 94 had sap all over it and it took it right off. It might take a little elbow grease but it will come off.
The duals could cause you some trouble if they are touching. That would cause them to overheat and blow out on ya. When you get a load on them, check to see what kind of clearance you have. It might be worth changing them out if they do touch.

If your planning to wax it anyway. Hot water "usually" does the trick. And when I say hot, I don't mean boiling. just hot tap water.

Use the WD-40 as a last resort. Don't get me wrong... IT WILL WORK. . but hot water works much quicker and easier.

I'm sure you can find an answer there. I do believe the "Final Inspection" would work great. I use it for bug splats and road tar and to give a fine clean before waxing.

My truck's first owner was a roofer, white truck with "hot tar" spots. Before buying it I asked the roofer at work if or how I can get that off without damaging the paint... handsoap was the answer the lanoline kind with NO abrasive, worked like a dream, found some sap and it took it off too!

rubbing alchol works too but try it in an out of the way place first, when I used it it was not on a clear coat paint job, but I had to wash the whole truck with it, I ran through the forest on a old logging road with the branches brushing the truck and it was spring time and the trees were full of sap
