HELP! I need a mirror!

Hi Gang,

I'm a long time TDR member but am new to playing around in discussion forums so please be gentle with me ! Can anyone tell me where I can find a driver's side power mirror for my '93? I've been trying for months and am having no luck. Thanks, Eva

Most good junkyards will be able to track one down for you, even if it comes from a few states away. or just keep watching ebay.

Thanks. I've tried some of the junkyards around here and get nothing but smart aleck comments about how "nobody drives those old trucks anymore" or "let me check with my Grandpa, he used to have one. " Any referrals to a good junkyard would be appreciated!

If it's the whole shell and all, I don't know of any replacement suppliers.

Now, now... I wasn't avoiding you at all! I happened to meet a guy who has a killer Dodge (He found me crawling under his truck in a parking lot checking out his lift) and he told me that I should hop on the TDR web site since there seems to be a shortage of women around here. Well, I like that ratio and nothing sounds better than being surrounded by a bunch of first Genner Dodge guys. Yahooo!

When you need things like the part(s) you mention try jumping into the classifieds and/or posting a "wanted" in there... you'll the most exposure for that in those forums... it's actually the best/right place for this sorta thing... .



We'll expect to see you make progress with your old gal (that would be the truck )... ... .



OH, it's mandatory to attend at least one church meeting a month... . (JK)... that would be "Our Lady Of Acceleration Church"... .

If you do real good you can even be awarded "bonus" rear wheel horsepower... (RWHP)

My '93 needed a passenger mirror when I bought it, so, I went to my local

pull-a-part, and found a set on an early 90s Dodge van. The housing was black

plastic instead of chrome, so, I bought both sides. They bolted right on. Later,I

found one of the drive mechanisims didn't work. Went back to the pull-a-part, and

found the identical drive mechanisim in a Mercury Cougar !!!

Here's some very non pink/manly typeset (Is this better than pink?). Haven't had the time to work on my computer nerd skills to figure out how to make my picture files small enough for this web page to accept it. I'v been out workin', slingin steaks and dutch oven cobbler for the masses... Gotta make some money so that I can buy my mirror when I find it. Thanks for the Dodge Van idea for parts.
