In a nut shell;



Lower left corner of the screen is START. Click there.

Up to PROGRAMS. Move the arrow over to ACCESSORIES. Then move the arrow over to PAINT. Click on PAINT



Move arrow to upper left corner to FILE. Move down to OPEN. Bring up any picture you have loaded. then move the arrow up to the top left corner to IMAGE. Move down to STRETCH/SKEW. Click on STRETCH/SKEW.



Now the prompts will be self explanetory. There are two boxes with numbers You'll have to reduce the picture width and height.



Depending upon the size of the ORIGINAL IMAGE you may have to make it quite small or not so... ..... so as it will be allowed to load onto our site.

Power mirrors coming off soon

Just wanted to let the gang know, my chrome power mirrors will be removed from my truck soon. They have extended arms from the factory. Most that I have seen come out of the mount on the door, turn 90 degrees, and stop. The ones that I have are about 10" long after the bend. I am removing them and going with West Coast mirrors for towing. The plastic chrome still looks nice and the glass lenses are very good too. They are located in West Palm Beach Florida. See my Readers Rigs section and zoom into the mirrors. Contact me if anyone needs them to keep the old first gens runnin!!

Those mirrors look like what I've always wanted, but couldn't figure out how to get behind the glass without breaking it. Are those factory, or did someone just put a different curved bar on them??



I've always wondered if you could move them further out, from behind the glass.

Wecome to the 1st gen forum... where there's no shortage of eccentricity :-laf ... these guys are great though and can fanagle (spelling?) horsepower, boost, and generalized mayhem with nothing more than spare parts from my son's tricycle and bailin' wire . I read you were looking for a driver's side power mirror... If you get desperate I have a manual driver's side mirror from a door swap I did last summer. It's collecting dust in my "parts bin". Lemme know,

Great news guys... I found a mirror! Found it at a place in Idaho at a real decent price of $65 bucks. Hopefully it won't be too much of a pain to replace myself. Thank you Bob for resizing those pictures for me (they're posted now) and to Greenleaf for the directions on how to do it myself. I do believe I've found a GREAT group of crazy friends here (folks I can finally identify with :-laf ) Looking forward to learning a bunch more here and having a fun time with you all too. WOW! Nice looking... . uh... . pickup. ALways did like white ANyway, happy you can now see the idiots in traffic from both sides. I just traded my powe rmirrors for a set of the towing style mirrors. Will be the best looking part of my truck. Unless DD takes it for a drive. Oh, I better quit- my girlfriend may see this someday... ...
