stock 2006 looking to build some power

Does any body know what numbers are stamped on a con fe? I recently purchased a con fe so i thought. The facings look like organic to me. The box said con o. I called the place i purchased it at and the said it was a con fe that was boxed wrong. Im not putting the clutch in to find out later on that it is a con o, and the vendor didn't want to own up to their mistake.

Also is the flywheel and pressure plate the same for all the clutches? just the disk facings different?

Anybody have any suggestions on how to make sure i got what i payed for?

The FE clutch has a kind of gold metallic surface, very thin.

The organic friction material looks kind of black with copper threads in it.

I just looked at my new OFE a couple of days ago prior to install.

SBC MU 13-1. 25 Con FE should come with a new flywheel and bolts for the press. plate. Give me a call or call peter 1 800 988 4345

The facing on both sides is black with the copper threads in it. I knew as soon as i saw it it was the wrong disc. We called the vendor and they said check the number stamped on the disk and if it was 5202(i think) it was a con fe. The number matched what they told us but it has organic facings. The vendor was closed when we got back to the shop to varify the number, so im going to call them back monday morn. It came with the flywheel and bolts just the wrong disc.

Thanks for the replies and if they dont want to fix the mistake ill give you a call Olee.

I believe the feramic looks like brake pads while the organic, as mentioned is black with the copper threads.

Sounds like you have the organic to me.
