Help - Just busted my mirror.

I just broke my driver's side mirror. I'm pulling the boat 600 miles next week and would really like to have an intact mirror. Can these be bought aftermarket, or do I need to get robbed at the dealer? It's for an '02 with the flip up tow mirrors.

Doesn't CIPA make a towing mirror??

Probably just as expensive, unless you can snag a OEM off eBay... they are usually on there...

Did you break the whole mirror or just the glass? I had the glass come off on my passenger side while trying to adjust it on the road. I just went to the local glass place and they had it replaced in no time. The Dodge house should have them in stock and you just stick it on with silicone adhesive.

I just bought a passenger side one off ebay for $135. That was like $100-and somthing less than a dealer quoted me for. Shipping was great and it got here in Connecticut in exactly 5 days from Texas.

I forgot to mention I just need the glass.

A local glass installer can help you out. If you can trace an outline from a good mirror, that would help them out.

Any autoglass repair center can get that glass for your mirror. I got a replacement one from Safelite Windshield Center for about $15.
