Help: Loud knocking/Shaking From ?

I have a 2006 Ram Mega Cab 5. 9 Liter, I have a knock from the bottom end it sounds like it is coming from the Oil Pan when running or It may be coming from the tanny ?? It shakes & knocks only at idle, When I hit the 1000rpm mark everthing is fine , no noise no knock ??

Well the first thing that comes to mind on a loud knock on the bottom end is a bad or failing bearing. Oil pressure at idle is minimum, so that would contribute to the problem.

Does the oil pressure have any effect? I don't know your location, so I don't know whether you get any cold weather startups (which would offer a chance for high oil pressure at idle).

What transmission do you have? Is the engine stock? When was the last time you refueled, and where? How long has this problem been going on? When was the last time you changed fuel filters? Is the oil level correct? How old is the oil? What type of oil have you been using?

We need lots more detail.

If you have an auto, the fluid lever being low can cause a knock.

Sorry I did not add enough info on my Truck the first time :

It is a 06 Mega Cab 3500, 5. 9 Auto 4x4 SLT , I have a Suncoast Full Billet Trans. , With a suncoast converter & flex plate, I have ATS intake & exhaust manifolds, Bully Dog Triple dog w/outlook monitor,64,14 High Tech Turbo, 5" Turbo back exhaust, Modfied CP3,90hp injectors,Snow Performance Water/Meth. Stock Intercooler, Running Amsoil w/ Bypass filters, Oil level is good,(Oil has about 8k on it) Trans level good,replaced my fass fuel filters about 500 miles ago. fuel & water sep together. I have not taken to any body to look at , I am located in Orlando,FL & don't know a good person to look at it. the Water Sep was clean. The Trans fluid has about 20k on it. It runs good over 1000rpms

No Vibs whatsoever ??? No white smoke at idle. just a little black smoke when I hit the pedal. Oil Press on the stock gauge shows just shy of 40psi at idle

First thing i would check is flex plate bolts make sure they are all tight and that the flex plate didnt crack. While you are down there you may want to change the oil filter I have seen filters cause problems
