Pin #28 is the PCI bus. Where is that and what voltage should it have.

Is there some sort of kill switch (in the event of an accident) that could be tripped? Where is it?

Ok Edge has been disconnected from power, MAP, Fuel pressure, and data link. Still have the same problem. The data link connector has two conntacts that have the same pulsing signal according to my test light.

Is there any chance that some kind of crash kill switch could be activated? My truck was towed home on my wedge trailer that has an angle of about 10 degrees and up some hills that are pretty steep, 8%. Added together it wouldn't be hard to exceed 40*. It was on the back of the trailer where the bouncing is most severe and we accidentally left the ignition on for the journey home. Just wondering????

DO NOT USE a test light, use ONLY low resistants Ohms Meters. You can easily draw to much amps and fry internal ECM/PCM component's.

Do you have a door lock/unlock remote style key? The key fob is what that is called by the dealer. Don't ask me where in the hell they came up with that name but that's what they call it. As far as the core pile load test, its a really nasty test that battery warehouses can do to show bad batteries even though a regular load tester will show it is good. I have sinced checked with a local dodge tech on your problem and he is confident your truck has lost some type of programmable memory. Bad batterys have been causing issues like yours here in Alaska for a couply of years now on the common rail engines. I'm not sure what else I can tell you other than good luck!

good luck is what I need so, thanks. I do have a fob. And new duralast batteries from Autozone. I'd say your on the right path I think it needs to be rebooted just not sure how to do it. In reading through the service manual there are some tests that require you to enter a new skis # before proceeding with some sort of memory jog. I don't know how to do that and it seems that this is going to require some tools I don't have. So, in the morning I'm going to drag it down to the dealer. It will be the first time my truck has been to a dealer since I bought it. Think they are going to bother notifying the rest of DC that my truck is modified and not warrantable with 240k miles?

You meant 24K and not 240K right?

DC has been on the hunt for modified vehicles lately. You might just get that warranty voided! Keep us posted.

Nope, I meant 240,000 on the odo. I have avoided ever taking it to a dealer just because I didn't want my vin # to be tracked. But just like everything else in the world now my vin # has a "record" so to speak. I'm just a little anti big brother.
