Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Help me spend $13,000 in BOMBs

Got my settlement check today. What mods provide the best Bang for the buck... Hx40 from piers, or just a Hx35. , How much bigger injectors, Maybe a trip to Mitchells for Twins?? ect...

Well, here's what I would do with that sort of $ and a bone stock truck to start with. Also, looking for maximum not for best towing on a frequent basis.

• DD Super Mental/BullyDog Step 5 in jnjectors
  
• Some sort of twin turbo setup
  
• Edge Drag Comp or super hot PowerMax 3 box
  
• One of Mitchells clutches
  
• AFE Mega-cannon
  
• head O-ringed and ported
  
• 5" straight exhaust with dual stacks
  

Since I have the same truck you do, I took a very similar path to what I just listed, but a step lower all around, as the products I just listed weren't on the market when I got my truck.



There are tons of other things I'd add as well, but you said only $13K

I want to go really fast 1/4 at a time, and I already hot-shot with this truck.

As fasr as appreciating investments, I have lost 20k in the stock market, am done for a while there. I am looking at some more investment property though.

Get the head O-Ringed, Piers HX-40, do the exhaust and gauges, ATS Manifold, Edge Comp (drag version) Start with some bully dog 4's, then step up to 6's or 8's, (but then you may not push enough air, but then you can go to twins also) AFE Cannon intake, and a 2 stage nitrous kit. Maybe some taller tires depending on your gears. trust me, this combo works!
