2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Help me upgrade my headlight wiring...

Okay guys I have had it. I have tried and tried to understand the wiring on the headlights on my truck. First off its a 01 sport so it already has two bulbs on each side. What I am trying to do is upgrade the wiring and make it so that when the low beams are on I have one filiment in each bulb working and when I put it on high beams all four filiments will work. I bought two wiring harnesses (one for each side) from someone and they did not work. . I got busy and they set, now a year later I want them to work. I just can not get it right. The harnesses I have plug into the 9007 socket from the truck and then drive two relays that in turn drive the lights. What happens right now is that when I have the low beams on I have one filiment in each bulb burning and when I put on the highs the other two filiments light up. I want all four to work when on high. I just can not get that to happen.



Does anyone have any of the late redneckdr's headlight upgrade wiring diagrams?? or is there someone out there that knows how do do this?? Please PM me or email me the diagrams if possible.

Thanks Steve. I have to go out of town today so this AM's project is to pull all the relays and get the system back to stock. Then I am going to use the info you sent and do a little trouble shooting on my harnesses.

I am in town right now... but I hope to be headding down to dip net this afternoon. I should be back tomorrow night. I think I have the lights figured out... but I would really like some help to be sure as I don't want to wire my headlights up to be a welder if you know what I mean.
