Help -- Michigan Test Drive

I am looking for some one to look at and test drive a medium duty dump truck in Waterford, MI just outside Detroit. Yes, I am lazy (and short on time) so I can't really burn 18-20 hours "just to check out a truck". The truck is a 24,000 GVW (no CDL needed) single axle with a 10 ft dump, really near the same size (only taller) than a QC dually. I don't need a full mechanics breakdown on the truck, I am most interested in the condition of the cab & front clip, how the motor runs/sounds, and how the allison auto shifts. The price they are asking indicates this is a fairly well used truck, that I understand. I just don't want it if it is a total POS, or has a really bad knock etc.....
