Hey guys. I'm getting ready to swap out my stock 04 (305/555) turbo for a BD Super-B. I have the mbrp 4" exhaust, and wondered if anyone else has the same setup, and how the exhaust mounted to the turbo? I thought the mbrp came with a 4 to 3. 5" downpipe so that it would mount right up to my stock 3. 5" turbo outlet. I know the outlet on the super B is 4"... just curious how it worked out for you guys... did you have to buy a new downpipe? Thanks in advance.

The 2nd gen super-b kits come with a downpipe, not the 3rd gen apparently. I guess they include a 4 to 3. 5" reducer that effectively pushes the whole exhaust system back an inch or so. I'm not thrilled with that idea. I'm wondering if its possible to cut the 3. 5" flange off my existing downpipe and weld the reducer in (possible issue as my exhaust is stainless?), or maybe if I should just order a whole new 4" downpipe and call it a day... thoughts?

It's going to depend what the Super B uses for a clamp on the back and wether or not they utilize the stock elbow. I would think BD would be the best source for this information.
