Help! my trans gets too hot.

I have a 4. 5 3500 auto trans with a mag tech extra cap pan and I still get 230+ deg out here in Santa Clarita California, I need a trans cooling kit I can install anyone know of one or have any experience with one?

I got the same one... ..... run with the t. c. locked and it won'tget so hot

how do you lock the tc?

it should do it by itself in second gear (selector in 2nd)above 25 mph or third gear above 48 mph(tow haul mode) with moderate throttle pressure ... then above 65 in o. d. !My truck runs cooler @ higher r. p. m. (2600-3000)

We added a large B&M cooler with an external fan to a Furd F450 running 20k GCWR most of the time. The truck still has no guts (V10), but the transmission won't go into the red anymore.
