Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) help need ez info new truck

just traded 01 td for 02 ho 6speeder put my edge box in and wow :--) on my old truck i had a turn buckel on the wastegate new truck has elbow what do i do to get max boost with this set up help

To delay your waste gate opening use a waste gate "elbow"

that will replace the stock elbow that is supplied with your HX35 turbo. This piece is made of brass and is screwed into your compressor housing and has a black rubber hose running out of it.



This part is usually supplied with all new EZ's.

No, a regular fitting won't work. The elbow has some small drilled holes that bleed off just the right amount of pressure and change the setpoint for the wastegate. The size of the holes impacts when it opens. So your best bet is to call Edge and get a new elbow. There are also some makers of "adjustible" elbows, but I don't have a specific name, so try the search feature.
