I just went and backed into my Girlfriend's Mom's Furd pickup, and in the process probably just cost myself that transmission upgrade... but that's another story.

The only damage to my truck was a small dent and a broken tail-light... not even the whole thing though. All that broke was the black plastic that goes around the outside and the small reflector that sits below the backup light. Can I buy just these two parts, or do I have to get a whole new assembly? Anybody got some parts laying around they'd like to sell me?

Not too bad of a deal, just pretty mad at myself right now.

Later, Josh.

BTW, it's the right rear tail-light, on a 2001 Dodge, SWB.

As long as you don't own a sport model the entire assembly(the only way to replace) is available at JC Whitney or other places for about $35- 1/2 price of the dealer. Do a search and you will find some more information. Mine kissed the load out shoot on a feeder wagon! How much damage to the ford?

I have a right hand one [passenger] from a 98. 5 Sport 3500 available... left was destroyed in wreck

PS the blue/green color [forgot what they call it]

well....

I realized when I pulled it out today that it's all one piece. Called around and no wrecking places in town have any, and dealer does want $73 for it, so probably going to go the JC Whitney route.

Damage to Furd is unknown amount right now. Going to take it for an estimate in a couple of hours. Probably only around $200-$300 worth of a paint job... . thank god it didn't dent it. But, that's enough to stop my spending for a while... good thing my gauges were already ordered.

Thanks for the help.

Later, Josh.

P. S. Willy, thanks for the offer, but I'd like to have the black one.
