Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Help! Need to find a cyl. head

Does anyone have or know where i can find a head for my 24v?

JR Adkins called with the bad news that he quit counting after 36 cracks not to mention some bad valves and guides.

Looking at approx $1500 for reconditioned head from cummins and was trying to stay away from a head that has had seats put in it.

Any help would be great.
