I have had my door panels off to put some sound deadening in the doors. The mirrors had been working two days ago when I took the panels off the first time. I had put them back on, but the pickup hasn't moved (no turbo, it ain't going anywhere for a few more days). Now tonight when I went to completely reinstal the door panels w/ new christmas-tree holder thingys, my mirrors don't work!!! Also, my interior lights aren't working now.

The one and only wire I've had spark on me is the power wire to my Sirius satellite receiver that is under the pax seat. I accidently grounded it today, but I thought it's power came from my deck (I didn't do the install).

So, what fuses should I check? I've checked all the ones I think it can be and they're all ok (even under the hood). What else should I look at?

ok, the two fuses I can't check are both on the panel in the cab on the drivers side... . the first is labeled "I. O. D. " and is held with a black retainer of some sort and I can't get the little 10 amp thing out. The second is the very last one on the top row (didn't check it's number, but it is 10 amp).

Anybody have any ideas?

Probably the IOD fuse. It doesn't take so much to pop, and controls all the stuff you mentioned. Use a blade to pry it out of the yellow protector. It will come out eventually.

Thanks... I'm at work all day so won't know till later this afternoon. I hope it's only that.

BTW, don't you guys just hate it when you forget the ground to your comp, as well as the pump wire, aren't attached and you turn the key to the "run" position, thereby setting wonderful codes in every onboard computer!! :)

A small hint.

When working on anything that involves wiring... . Disconnect the ground side of the batteries first.

Takes a lot less time to do that than to try and figure out why something don't work later.

Update... . it was the IOD fuse. I didn't realize till just now (was working on it last night at 9:30 pm in the dark) how the little plastic holder keeps the fuse in... it's actually very easy to remove. Everything is back to normal, minus the codes that were set by the Comp... . oh well, they've been there before.

Thanks for the help.
