I installed a TST in my truck today. Got in and noticed no clock. Thought maybe I knocked a fuse out of place. Checked; not the case. Then I start the truck, no radio or clock but truck runs fine. Tried the tst everything worked as expected execpt clock and radio. Then tonight I notice no inside light when I open the door and with keys in there was no dinger. Turn key on and the light in cab lights up like it supposed to. It's like I have no fire to cab until I turn the key on. Have checked and rechecked the fuses plugin ect. .

Sounds funny, but where did you ground the tst? Try the dash frame. I had my tst installed w/ the ground to my battery, then I installed a fass and grounded it in the same place, and all of a sudden my A/C didn't work.

I grounded it to the battery. I also have a warn winch grounded to the same battery. I discovered today anything hat should have fire when the key is off such as radio, inside light, headlights, ect... . do not until the key is turned on. Everything but the radio work great after you turn the key on. Well pleased with tst so far, but I hope this is not a sign that it will be as much trouble as my juice was. I will try moving the ground and will post results. thanks

The good news is that this seems to be the first time this has came up... Did you triple check the fuses? Esp the one with the black harness thingy (it is caleld the IOD fues, - Ignition off draw, without it, no radio or remote entry)

Other than trying the ground inside on dash frame, I have no idea

I triple checked everything. I then unistalled and then reinstalled the tst. Problem gone. All I can figure is that I knonked a fuse or a plug in loose and then got it back right on the install, anyway the problem is gone. Now, I just need a clutch.

Yes, you must have got one of the latest TST boxes. Besides the cool down feature they now come with full time radio mute! ( Helps dial in those pod numbers ) :-laf

Now that's some funny stuff right there! The FULL TIME RADIO MUTE has to be in the top ten on the TDR in a long time.

Made me laugh... although no offense to WMoroni... just plain good stuff.

You'd have me buying another TST box if they could figure out a way to FULL TIME MUTE MY WIFE! LOL Oo.
