:{ I know Dodge changed suppliers for their NV5600 but I can't believe the company would just go under. Parts replacement alone would enable the plant to remain open albeit fewer employees. These trannies are everywhere! Does this mean there's no parts for the NV4500 also? I wish I'd gone with the manual but my auto doesn't seem quite so worthless now.

Just wanted to let everbody know Drive Line Specialist in Las Vegas still has parts for the 5600 thanks n7gxz. Parts on the way. Oh by the way I was trying to post to another location and my post showed up here sorry.

I,ve got a 2000 5600 with the same problem I need syncros this deal is really ticking me off I love my cummins power and I dont like auto trannys my problem is if I do ever scrape together the parts to fix my 5600 what happens in another 100K when it needs new syncros the 06 trannys are prone to case spread under high torque so how do I find out more about this fuller transmission any help would be great

Here is the on going search, Dealership is checking to see if new 6 spd trans out of an 06 will bolt up. And what changes need to be made. I have checked with Eaton Fuller, they also produce a 6 spd with similar ratio's that I know will bolt up to the back of the Cummins in Medium duty trucks. Then comes the trick is to bolt the transfer case up to the back of Fuller. I talked to advanced adapters to see if they have done anything yet as well, but as of yet nothing for the 5600. Advanced adapters does make adapters for the 4500 from the Getrag. I do not have the ratio's for the D. C. 2006 mercedes 6spd but do have the ratio's for the 1st generation NV5600 with 1. 25" input shaft.
