Archived HELP Oil Question

Help,

I need to know what oil goes inside a NV-3500. Is it the same as a NV-5600, and if so, can I use the same Amsoil 3000 5w-30?

Any help ASAP would be appreciated. The applicaiton is for a 2001 Jeep Wrangler.

According to Dave Fritz's website. The Mopar lube part numbers are close but not the same for the 3500 and the 5600.

According to the Amsoil Reference book, if the NV-3500 is #4874464, the 3000 series 5W-30 can be used.

Thank you for the reply. I filed up the transmission with 3000 5w-30. Hope it works
