OK - maybe my eyes and or mind is playing tricks on me - BUT I have a Buckstop on the front and I think - (not sure) my front end is sagging a bit. Can someone tell me how to tell?? I know this sounds stupid - but I wish I had measured it before I did this so I would have a frame of reference. Now I have 265's on my front end and when I take a tape and go to the fround and to the bottom of the front fender (as if you stood next to the tire and measured from the ground to the bottom of the outside edge of the fender) I measure 37. 5". Ideas as to what it should be??????

Have your buddy sit on the front bumper and measure the drop with him on it. The right buddy will weigh about the same as the bumper (230 lb). If you truck is like everyone elses it will sag between an eigth and a quarter inch.

The other thing you can do is take the same buddy and set him on a stock truck and measure the drop.

What you are probably seeing is the factory rake (this is why they sell 2" leveling lifts), accentuated by the bumper - now it looks REALLY raked, but it's not.

Hope that helps.

I am not sure if the 01 has the same front springs as mine but when I lift my snow plow (8' commercial Plow) my truck only drops about 1" maybe 1. 5" it weights around 800 lbs. About three years ago I ordered new springs thinking mine were probally getting bad new ones were no different in hight or sag with load.
