Ok I leave at 445 to 5 am every morning and never noticed these before so I am guessing that this was caused by the storm last night (well hoping) my pass side park lights are on very dim and will not shut off. I have pulled all the fuses 1 by 1 and did not get them to turn off, I have pulled the plug off the headlight switch, and pulled the connections off my TST. None fixed my issue. Any help would be great. I am supposed to leave for a 4 day school in Ogden UT and then a 3 day Ft. Chaffey AR for the army. This will drive me up a wall if I cannot find this before I leave.

Same thing happened to our 04. 5 a while back after a very heavy rain. I never could identify where the problem was. I also tried pulling fuses but ended up just disconnecting the batteries. After several hours of the truck sitting in the sun with the hood and windows open, everything worked as it should.

Well I came out at 3:30 today and it was all off and I thought I was good to go. Well I drove the 1. 5 hours home and they are back on agian. I just unhooked the bats think I will leave them off for the night and pull in the shop in the morning and let it sit for a week and see where I am at.

Does the '06 have an FCM (Front Control Module)? Mine is under the power dist. box near the fender and front left tire. I believe I have heard of issues with moisture in the connector.

These trucks have electrical systems that take cues from a number of circuits and then decide what to do with the info. Like the horn. You can push on what you think is the horn but doing that is telling the FCM that you pushed on the horn pad. The FCM then sends a signal to the relay to send power to the horn itself and it honks.

This is not as crazy as it seems. The horn is also used for the security system and for an audible sound when you lock the doors. My point is that something is telling the lights to come on and it isn't the light switch. It may be another circuit that uses the park lights.

Thats what I was thinking also but I thought that when I pulled the fuses one by one that it should have killed it. I even pulled the big square fuses. I am sure that I have got some moisture in somthing just have not figured out what yet.

I unpluged the switch did not help. It has to be a connector. I think I will try to find the FCM (or GEM as FORD calls it) and see what it looks like.
