I have a 01 dodge 2500 single cab long bed 4x4 5 speed manual has the 5th green nut fixed today hit a bump and check engine came on and now 5th slips when you get into it. If you ease it up it's fine

It sounds like your clutch is slipping. 5th gear will put the most "load" on it, so you will notice it the most in that gear.
