Broken Storage Bin in passenger door

For the last week i have been having strange issues in my truck. sometimes the AC will blow and sometimes it won't, when it does blow it blows half pressure. Twice the other day it would blow but it blew hot air. in addition to this, my e-brake indicator light on the dash has been on for a few days now and will not go off. I threw code p0882 but have been able to find very little information on it. Also my windshield wiper low fluid light on the dash is on and will not go off even with the bottle filled. My truck does not seem to be running abnormally All of this started happening the day after i threw code p2509 (went to start truck and guages pulsated repeatedly) , but i cleaned my battery cable that links the two batteries and cleared the code with my smarty, checked both batteries with my multimeter and all was good. anyway, does anyone have any idea what might be going on here?

A bad battery will still show 12 volts. You need to have a load tester. I think most autoparts stores will test your battery for you.

The AC is probably broken doors or coupler shafts in your heater box. I get heat in my face and AC out the vents from time to time. I have taken to cycling the selector switch from all the way left to all the way right with the fan off (no air pressure against the doors). I pause between doing this to let all the servos come to rest before switching it the other direction. Then I turn on the fan and switch it to vents only. It seems to help sometimes. I still need to pull the dash out and fix it for real.

There have been lots of problems with 2006 instrument clusters. Mostly they have had tach issues but the root-cause is poor solder joints. It's very possible the same poor solder flow could show up in many different ways. If your proficient at soldering, you could remove the cluster and re-solder any joints that look bad.

Good luck!

Hope this doesn't turn out to be a red herring for you, but I'm wondering if perhaps you may have two separate issues:
[1] Possible instrument cluster issue as mentioned above
[2] The well known occurrence of broken mode and/or blend and/or recirc doors in the HVAC box, which can cause low air flow, warm air, etc.

Well, our 2006 Mega Cab fan switch only works on high speed, sooooooo, perhaps not a blend door. I had a Durango with a similar prob lem. Thank goodness for extended warranties.

My AC started blowing hot air. I shut it off and continued to check it while I drove around town. It started working again and then two days later stopped and would not blow cold air at all. Found out it was the clutch that went bad. New compressor and AC worked great for three days and then started blowing hot air only. Found out the ICM (fuse box on the driver side fender) is shutting down the compressor. It is sending a signal that there is a current draw problem from the compressor. I was told there is a flash for this and was origianlly due to the ICM thinking parking lights were drawing to much power when pluged into a trailer. I'm taking my truck to a dealer Monday for the flash to see if this will help. The shop that fixed my AC was able to clear the code and my AC works again. They said it will continue to happen until something is fixed with the ICM. The other thing they told me was the ICM can only be flashed about 5 times and then it might be fried. Don't know if this helps or not. I will try to let you know what happens when I get done at Dodge.

Your blower resistor is burnt out. The resistor changes the voltage for the lower speeds and high is a full 12 volts.

Ok. Thank you all. My AC started working again thank God since its been 115 degrees here. However my e brake indicator livght stay on all ybe time but when. I actually set the e brake the light flashes instead of staying on constantly. The low windshield wiper fluid light comes and goes even tho the reservoir is full and the check engine. Light does too. I have 3 codes. . Codes. P0646. P0514. And p0882.
