Help!! Search dead, lift pump dead. What is Cummins L/P part #

Running on pusher pushing through dead lift pump. I need the Cummins latest and greatest lift pump part #.



53,xxx mi on truck, about 20k on pusher, original lift pump.



Went to start truck and turned key, no aux pump noise. #@$%! Bumped starter a couple times with limited results. OK swapped relays, OK for 3 tries and relay said " I quit ". #@$%! #@$%! disconnected lift pump swapped another relay and Aux pump would run 16# idle, drove to parts store and bought both relays they had, 2 more auto parts stores and I had a third relay. ( This is a catalogue town ).

Contacted 4 regional Cummins dist. Lift pump #3990105 is on national back order. S W Cummins in Phoenix said that the local Freightliner dealer had 4 in stock this morning and gave me the phone#. I called and they are shipping their last one to me. $165. 97 w/ local tax + shipping.

I am glad I have the aux pusher to limp on till I get the new one installed. I would have bought 2 and kept one under the seat but they only had 1.

Boy am I lucky... . Cummins B. C. had it in stock... . Bad news is it cost me almost 200 smacks. Fiancee would not have been happy if I had to stay in Canada till they got them in stock

I have a pump (that part #) under my back seat from Phoenix... Got it w/o the pigtail, (not sure if I need it on the y2k - pigtail). Let me know ifn you still needs & if I need to get the pigtail to add to my stockpile. Not sure what years need the pigtail because Cummins said I did but... ... ... it looks like I dont and was going to return the pump here if we made it back (and we did but I didnt return pump - yet).



Also, have a post for the 4x4 align specs (in this forum). Lost the link to the original one and he lost the printout (the one u used for u'rs).
