i have a fp gauge and an afe stage 1,need to update my sig... . will a pdr35 support 450 hp

thanks marcel

Piers PDR35 per the website says it's good to about 350hp. A PDR 40 or a DodgeZilla would probably be a better route. I hear Don's STICKS would probably be a great option when you get the turbo worked out. .

Good luck,

Forget the FP gauge. Get a Don M cam and mech LP, then you'll never need to waste time monitoring FP.

Since I didn't the cam, I have a guage.

I would get a Snow Performance Methanol injection system. For the money best bet. Take money that is left and take wife/girlfiend out to dinner. Now you are both happy!

MCharliebois - Don's Injectors are sweet. If you are looking on doing the turbo I don't think for $850 you can go to something that will support what you want to do. However, if you do Don's Mach 4's @ $900, they will get you close if not over w/your comp box.

But, beware of EGTs climbing high , be light on the pedal and attentive to the egt gauge until you get the turbo to support lower egt's.

You do have gauges - yes? - if not, before anything else get them. EGT/Boost, FP & Trans Temp, on A-pillar for under $500 if you use Westach and get from Geno's Garage.

Don's 4s are sweet, and they are TOTALLY imo the best available combo of street manners and power. IOW, you *can* find as powerful, or maybe more powerful-- but they won't be NEARLY as clean or give as good mpg. OTOH, you can find injectors this clean, too-- but *they* won't even be in the same league for power and low end tq (off boost).

IMO, Don's 4s are about the best all around daily driver injector out there. I love mine, and YES-- I'm just a little bit biased. These are way cleaner than my wimpy dd2s were, yet almost twice the HP increase!

OH, and mpg is better than ever, too!

For $850 do the cam and have a new fuel system and then your turbo will go a little further with injectors before you need to change it. Or you could just give the $850 to me and I will do a cam in my truck. I've been going to do a RASP next but after looking around today for a while I am seriously thinking about doing the cam and getting the fuel pump upgrade by doing this. Summer is coming and I still need to build traction bars and I was thinking about mach 4's and a turbo for the pulling season but I may put that off for a cam. With any luck I'll get enough OT early on this year to do everything else before July but a cam is looking like my next big thing.

Oh and by the way I have Hohn's old DD II's and they are awesome with the Drag comp but I need more fuel, I can pull the pressure gauge right down to scary levels without a problem when the box is on 5x5. They will smoke too, I leave my comp off most all of the time since I put in the 2's
