A freind of mine's grandpa pasted away Sunday and when I was on my way to the funeral home tonight the little guy with the seatbelt (red light) came on on the dash. :( I tried undoing the seatbelt and buckeling it again but the light would not go off. when I got home I didn't have time to look at my shop manual for any infomation but thought you guys might know something I don't. :) Thought it might be a fuess or something but didn't have time to check that either. :(

I hate when something goes wrong with my truck:{

Hope some one can help. :confused:

I 've had this happen a couple of times and each time I have had to wiggle the conectors under the drivers seat and it sems to go away.

I had this happen as well. I ended up unplugging the connection under the seat, taking a short piece of wire, and making up the circuit so that it never comes on. I guess that's cheating the system, but it's an easy fix and drops the annoying red dude.

Same thing on mine... just unplugged the connection under the driver's seat, treated it with some di-electric grease, clicked it back together and no problems!
