I only have 38k miles on my 2002 and it hesitats going into overdrive, and then suddenly grabs hard when it finally does.

Anyone know what I should do or what this is? Should I reset the apps or start checking grounds? I'm under warrantee but don't want to just have anyone out there give me trans service. I've already been thru some of those average type shops  . Don't want that again and haul an rv.

.

Ooops I guess I never filled out my sig; It's bone stock except the Vulcan big lines, vp cooling blower, and relocated fuel pump and return line.

i would find a good diesel shop performance shop and have them look at it i wouldnt take it to dodge no mater what i had them screw up an excellent transmission in my 01 i would find a good diesel performance shop and have them take a look

Thank you. I see by your sig you have a DTT. How much would I have to pay for something like that? Or would I really have to go to that extreme trans with a stock truck?

you probly wouldnt need to go that far with a stock truck i paid about 4500. 00 bucks for my dtt and it works great i love it . if i was going to do any upgrades to your transmission i would go with a dtt valve body and torque converter. but first i would have somebody that knows what they are doing look at it

Resetting the apps may clear it up for a while but you may need to add a noise filter to the apps signal.

DDT or Goerand both have the filter available $20-40 bucks as I recall.

I got lazy this weekend cause I had to cut and split firewood so all I did was clean the battery terminals. It seems to drive nice for now but, I know to get a filter and clean all the grounds.

Thank you for the posts.
