Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) HELP.. transmission shudder

Just got my new Don's Mach 1 injectors. Oo. love them. a solid 2+ mpg empty, close to 3 mpg towing #3500. I have picked up a bad shudder when on the go pedal, especially towing. I can make it do it at any speed, in and out of OD. Where do I start? TC, new transmission :{

Lube Gaurd? Where can I find it? Napa have it? I'll try anything as long as it won't screw me up more.

I have a similar shudder towing when pulling hills, I added Bill K's noise filter with no change, then I got the Dodge Garage trans shudder torque converter lock / unlock flash and it is worst than ever before. Maybe the lube gard will help how much do you add to the trans fluid.

Bill at DTT said try 1/4 first, if that didn't do it, another 1/4. I added the whole bottle. but mine was pretty far gone though. cya

I thought I had a trans sudder, it ended up being a fuel shudder

How did you figure it was a fuel shudder and what did you do to fix it?

New trans.

Lube guard didn't help mine, rpm's were visibly jumping there towards the end with the shudder. new transmission fixed it. I love my goerends, just didn't appreciate spending 3 grand.

Well, I had my trans redone by Mass Diesel (for the second time) While it was there I took out my easy and had a comp box put in. On the long ride home while feeling the awsome torque past 55-60mph I felt the sudder. Feeling real ****** off called Scott and he said it felt like a fuel shudder and to turn off the box. Sure enough that was it. I really didn't do much. I use a fuel lube with injector cleaner(lucas) and its not as bad. I mostly only felt it with the box on 4 or 5 while puttin the pedal down or close to it at 50 or so on the highway. Hope this helps
