Hi folks, driving down the road and the ABS, AIR BAG lights come on, the speedometer goes from 0 -120 MPH at will, the Volt meter is jumping from 12 - 18, then the dreaded no fuel hickup just for a second or two then everything is fine. . for a while. Filters are clean, fuel preasure has never dropped below 10, all symptoms occure under normal driving conditions.

I suspect a faulty ECM or PCU or some other computer related malfuntion... any ideas out there?

no luck yet...

Bells are chimming, dash lights are blinking, fuel is cutting off,it is x-mas time you know! mabey that's it!

I'm stumped, battery connections are good and grounds seem to be fine. Can I test with a multimeter to see if there is a ground problem, I'm half tempted to take it to the Juneau service Dodge dealer and take my lumps. Do these computers go bad ever and what are the symptoms when they do?

COMPUTER PROBLEMS

you might try to pull the plugs on the ecm and pcm . clean them with contact cleaner. (do not use brake clean) after cleaning apply some silicone grease to the connectors. i have never had any problems with anything electric on my truck. i have access to an aircraft product called acf50. we use it on all kinds of electrical equipment. i apply it to all connectors after washing the engine down. works for me. best of luck with it. :) :) Oo. Oo.
